PROLASH (PROBIOTIC, OIL-FREE EYELASH SERUM)
The atoms in cysteine (unique amino acids because they contain a reactive sulph-hydryl group) in
keratin, have a strong affinity for gold, leading to a robust (gold-thiol) bond when they interact.
Amino acids, powerful peptides, probiotics, coconut fruit extract, provitamin B5, and vitamin H (biotin)
infused serum. Oil-free, mineral-rich formula is safe to use with most lash extensions. (See notes below).
Hair is made up of more than eighty percent (80%) keratin protein. That is why amino acids are
important; they are the building blocks of protein (and eyelashes), and they may also nourish and repair
damage. Peptides are short chains of amino acids; they can nourish, condition, and strengthen frail and
brittle lashes. Carefully blended soy and wheat amino acids, and nitrogen-rich amino acid arginine, can
help reinforce and strengthen lashes, and lessen damage and protect them from harsh processes. Some
probiotics may inhibit hair loss by reducing inflammation and stress levels; and help promote the
sustainable growth of hair follicles and have anti-inflammatory properties, producing hormones to
disrupt inflammation. Probiotic exfoliation, enzymes that eliminate dead skin cells without inducing
inflammation, can help remove unwanted mascara, microorganisms, and buildup leftover on lashes.
Myristoyl pentapeptide-17 is a five amino acid (lysine, leucine, alanine, lysine, and lysine; “Lys-Leu-AlaLys-Lys”) peptide attached to the oil-soluble fatty acid, myristic acid for better bioavailability; can
stimulate keratin genes, and produce more keratin, the aforementioned, important structural protein in
hair (and eyelashes), nails, and the outermost layer of skin. A three amino acid (glycine, histidine, and
lysine; “Gly-His-Lys”) peptide where the collagen fragment, tripeptide-1 is combined with biotin, known
for helping to strengthen nails and hairs; the resulting combination is biotinoyl tripeptide-1 (BT-1), a
peptide that may help reduce hair loss and make eyelashes appear longer, fuller, and stronger. BT-1 helps
promote hair bulb keratinocyte (cells that produce keratin, a protein that forms the outer layer of skin,
hair, and nails) proliferation and may ensure optimal hair anchorage by stimulating the synthesis and
organization of the adhesion molecules laminin-5 (laminin-332) and type IV collagen.
Biotin, also known as vitamin H or B7, can promote eyelash growth by supporting keratin production.
This protein is a vital part of the structure of all the hair on the body. In addition to promoting keratin
production, biotin may also help strengthen eyelashes and prevent breakage. Provitamin B5 helps lashes
and brows grow thicker, longer, fuller, and flexible by preventing moisture loss to the lash and brow while
conditioning and providing nourishment to the hair follicle.

Note: Oil and extensions; the main ingredient in many lash extension adhesives is cyanoacrylate, a quick-drying acrylic resin that is in most
super glues. Oils on extensions could dissolve the cyanoacrylate bond. Some oils can cause the adhesive on your lash extensions to weaken,
including canola oil, coconut oil, mineral oil, and vegetable oil. Some oils may be safe for use with lash extensions.
THIS FORMULA DOES NOT CONTAIN LATISSE. “Latisse may cause increased brown eye coloring (hyperpigmentation). This is rare but is
likely permanent if it occurs. Brown eye coloring has occurred infrequently when Latisse solution was used.” Source: latisse.com
