Gentle, shampoo and conditioner combo with no sulfates, provides a moisturizing, deep clean while
leaving hair and scalp conditioned and refreshed. Silky soft hair and boosts shine as it dries. Formulated
to effectively cleanse and hydrate hair and scalp simultaneously. Readily biodegradable, cocamidopropyl
betaine, from coconut oil produces a thick lather when combined with water, that helps loosen dirt and
impurities that get washed away, for easier rinsing off after cleaning. Decyl glucoside produced by the
reaction of glucose from corn starch with coconut-derived fatty alcohol decanol. As a non-ionic surfactant
(a substance which tends to reduce the surface tension of a liquid in which it is dissolved), it works by
lowering the surface tension between two liquids, such as oil and water, enabling it to remove dirt and oils
from surfaces, and to stabilize oil and water mixtures. Fatty acids, capric and caprylic are medium-chain
triglycerides (MCTs) naturally present in coconut oil and palm kernel oil. (Our MCT oil suppliers
collaborate with the Forest Trust and Greenpeace International, and our palm kernels supplier has had a
zero deforestation policy since 2001). Hydrating, caprylic/capric triglycerides create a barrier on the
surface of hair, retaining moisture and preventing dryness, helpful for curly hair and sensitive scalps.
They can make hair silky smooth, reduce tangling, and can provide a gloss or shine to hair. Fatty acids in
caprylic/capric triglycerides can soothe and moisturize the scalp, helping prevent dandruff. Caprylic/
capric triglycerides can hydrate skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Caprylic acid can reduce the
risk of protein leak in hair; protein deficiency can cause hair loss, increased hair fall, and shedding, and
can improve blood lipids and reduce inflammation levels. Hair lipids can protect against environmental
and chemical damage; prevention of hair breakage and thinning; serving as a barrier against moisture loss
and improve the shine, elasticity, and tensile strength of the hair shaft.
Glyceryl stearate is an emollient and emulsifier derived from glycerin, a natural alcohol, and stearic acid,
a fatty acid that usually comes from plant sources like coconut or palm oil. Glyceryl stearate helps hydrate
hair and scalp to prevent dryness and damage, and can help prevent frizz, and reduce tangling. Glyceryl
stearate has moisturizing properties, it can form a protective barrier, which helps to lock in moisture and
prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Hydrating castor oil with fatty acids, including ricinoleic acid,
act as natural emollients, conditioning hair and making it smoother and shinier. It can also moisturize the
scalp, which can be beneficial for dry or damaged hair. It can help strengthen hair strands and protect
against breakage and hair loss. Its antibacterial and antifungal properties can help with scalp health,
treating dandruff and scalp infections. It can also help restore the natural acidity of an itchy scalp.
Ricinoleic acid in castor oil can stimulate prostaglandin E2 receptors, which may increase blood vessel
dilation in the scalp. This could increase blood flow to hair follicles, which are rich in oxygen and
nutrients. Ricinoleic acid can decrease inflammation, which may create a healthier environment for hair
growth. Inflammation can sometimes inhibit hair growth.

How to use: Massage a small amount onto wet hair and scalp to create a gentle lather, rinse clean.
