NATURAL LIP GLOSS
Some lip glosses have toxic ingredients, pigments to produce the many colors and shades, parabens and
phthalates, and ingredients are mostly, not regulated. These toxins can be absorbed through skin, and
ingested; causing premature aging (wrinkles, age spots, and uneven skin tone), skin damage (skin
irritation, rashes, and defatting), permanent damage (permanent loss of skin color or permanent
scarring), skin cancer and other health issues. Super moisturizing lip gloss, infused with certified organic
coconut oil and certified organic jojoba oil (see notes below) and twelve (12) other certified organic

natural, (certifed) organic on your lips. Lips are naturally dry. There are no sweat or oil glands on lips,
that means they do not have the usual protection layer of sweat and oils to keep them smooth and
moisturized, and why it can be very difficult for lips to retain moisture. Absence of oil glands means lips
do not produce natural moisturizing factors, or elements to keep the outer layer of skin protected and
hydrated. Lips do not have much of an outer layer. Unlike the rest of skin, many areas of lips do not have a
stratum corneum (the top layer of skin). This is kind of like armor, an intricately woven barrier comprised
of fats, proteins, and dead skin cells; this barrier protects skin when it is dry, and is also responsible for
ultraviolet (UV) protection.
Natural lip gloss features hydrating, certified organic coconut oil, paraben free, cruelty free, and has no
gluten-containing ingredients. Coconut oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids, including lauric acid that
hydrates and moisturizes dry, cracked, or chapped lips, that help retain the moisture content of skin while
helping it look and feel silky smooth. Beeswax has beta-carotene, converted in the body into natural
retinol (vitamin A), essential for cell growth. Hypoallergenic and superhydrophobic wax, from carnauba
palm tree leaves, form a protective layer that prevents moisture loss and preserves natural oils.
How to use: Apply to lips and reapply as needed.

Notes: Benefits of jojoba oil in transdermal delivery and its ability to improve passive skin permeation of topical lipophilic actives rapidly
and accurately. Studies show an increase in permeation was nearly 40-fold compared to a similar formulation without jojoba oil.
No PFAS (Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) called “forever chemicals” [PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), perfluorooctyl
triethoxysilane, perfluorononyl dimethicone, perfluorodecalin, and perfluorohexane] do not break down in the environment or human body.
