Fruit acids AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids), are known to stimulate collagen and exfoliate the surface of skin,
gently exfoliate and wash away impurities. Hydrating, aloe vera (AV) infused with walnut shells, CoflowTM
“nourishing coconut oil and sunflower oil” with anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective Super vitamin E (40-
60x higher antioxidant activity) tocotrienol can improve circulation, vitamin C rich orange peel, green tea
leaf extract, jojoba oil (see note below), and pomegranate oil. Readily biodegradable (see notes below),
cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB), derived from CO, can lift oil and grease, allowing for easier removal.
CAPD can cleanse, hydrate, and condition; binds to dirt and oil to remove makeup and grime. Walnut
shells, also natural and biodegradable, are a great alternative to chemical peels, that can leave skin feeling
dry, sore or blemished. Walnut shell granules gently remove impurities, excess oils and dull surface cells
from skin without causing irritation and are suitable even for the most sensitive skin.
Humectants and glycosaminoglycans in AV help bind moisture into skin, and cohesive effects by sticking
together flaking epidermal skin cells, resulting in softer skin and improved skin integrity. It has naturally
occurring cinnamic acid, phenols, salicylic acid, sulfur, and urea nitrogen, which inhibit the growth of
bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Its anti-inflammatory qualities can suppresses P. acnes, the bacteria that
causes acne. Salicylic acid (SA) may prevent acne since it sheds dead cells from the outer layer of skin and
decreases redness and inflammation. Its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic
properties can soothe eczema and flare-ups of psoriasis by hydrating and protecting it from contaminants.
Its vitamin C (VC) and E can prevent the formation of free radicals, molecules that cause cell damage. SA
is a gentle exfoliant, after dead skin cells are out of the way, skincare products might better penetrate the
surface and be more effective as a result. Orange peels (OP) have more VC than their fruit, and have
calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties can protect skin
from free radical damage; heal dry, flaky, and itchy skin; hydrate dehydrated skin; help bring back
moisture; prevent oxidative stress in skin cells, for youthful, glowing skin; help in renewing worn out
cells; work as a skin lightening agent; and help remove tan by reducing the melanin (skin pigment)
synthesis. VC in OP can neutralize free radicals that cause oxidative stress to skin and lead to premature
skin aging; help regulate sebum production, getting rid of excess skin oil; and promote healthy skin glow.
OP help with pus filled pimples/acne, drying out pimples enabling them to heal faster.
How to use: Apply to sponge, loofah or hands and lather generously all over your body. Rinse and follow
up with your favorite body balm or body lotion.

Notes: CAPB biodegradability: In seawater, CAPB has a half-life of less than one day. Depending on the microbial community, CAPB can
biodegrade in 24–168 hours. 90% of CAPB is biodegraded after five days in seawater at a concentration of 100 mg/L at 25 degrees C. Benefits
of jojoba oil in transdermal delivery and its ability to improve passive skin permeation of topical lipophilic actives rapidly and accurately.
Studies show an increase in permeation was nearly 40-fold compared to a similar formulation without jojoba oil.
