BODY LOTION WITH OLIGOMERIC PROANTHOCYANIDIN COMPLEXES (OPCs)TM

Delicate and gentle, lightweight, velvety soft, fast/easy-absorbing [coconut oil (CO) and grapeseed oil
contain linoleic acid (C18:2), a vital component of sebum] formula, moisturizing (AV) aloe vera (skin
absorbs AV up to 4x faster than water) leaf juice, nourishing, anti-wrinkle lotion; skin is hydrated and
revitalized without greasiness. CO [alpha-, up to 17 mg/kg, beta-, up to 11 mg/kg, gamma-tocopherol up to
14 mg/kg; alpha-tocotrienol (“Super” vitamin E, 40-60x higher antioxidant activity) up to 44 mg/kg] can
prevent TEWL, rejuvenating and restoring glow, moisturizing (dry) skin. Antimicrobial lauric acid (C12)
can soothe skin irritation, and prevent growth of acne-causing bacteria. Anti-inflammatory qualities can
relieve pain. C12 converted to monolaurin in the body can reduce infections, and help heal wounds.
C18:2 can improve wound healing by modulating the cellular response and increasing the migration and
functions of inflammatory/endothelial cells; fatty acids and vitamin E can help dark circles and hyperpigmentation. Natural humectant vegetable glycerin (VG) hydrates skin and protects it from dryness,
environmental damage, and irritation; reducing/preventing wrinkles and dryness-related damage. (V)G
occurs naturally in skin, it helps maintain the natural moisture barrier of skin. VG can regulate sebum
production, soothe itchiness, maintain elasticity, and help with photoaging; exfoliate/moisturize skin,
brightening/enhancing complexion; anti-inflammatory soothes, calms dry skin and reduces irritation, by
creating an extra barrier between skin and its environment; can help with eczema and psoriasis, and help
heal wounds from cracked skin. Oil-free, noncomedogenic, not likely to clog pores, may help reduce acne.
Grapeseed oil (GSO) hydrates skin, improves skin elasticity, helps with acne and burns; its C18:2 inhibits
bacteria growth in pores, and repairs inflamed skin and reduces scarring. Not likely to clog pores in most
skin types, including oily skin. OPCs aka condensed tannins, are 5x more potent than vitamin E as
antioxidant because of their higher number of hydroxyl and methoxyl groups (see note below), metal
chelating agents, terminate chain reactions by binding to metal ions, preventing them from catalyzing the
formation of free radicals; can reduce signs of aging; wrinkles/fine lines/sun spots. Their antioxidant
effect to bond with collagen, promotes youthful skin, elasticity and flexibility, and cell health; improving
blood circulation and protecting skin from photoaging. Antioxidants include vitamin E (β, γ, and δ -tocopherol, and “Super”. Studies show GSO is richer in “Super” than tocopherols, with γ-tocotrienol being the
most abundant) reduce free radical cell damage. AV 75+ nutrients/200 bioactive compounds can
hydrate/plump skin without it feeling greasy, more supple and less wrinkles. Anti-inflammatory qualities
can soothe rashes, and redness from sunburns. AV shortens wound healing time for cuts and burns;
reduces inflammation, relieves pain, boosts production of new skin cells, and can help dry, itchy skin.
Antibacterial qualities can fight acne/other breakouts by reducing inflammation and regulating sebum.
Antioxidant vitamin A, C, and E, help defend against free radical damage and repair photoaging. AV can
tighten the look of pores, and support collagen production; its aloe sterols promote collagen production
and increase the gene expression level of type I/type III collagen synthesis in humxn dermal fibroblasts.
Anti-inflammatory acemannan promotes wound healing by stimulating collagen production, has
antioxidant effects to protect against free radical damage, and can accelerate cell regeneration.

How to use: Apply as often as needed throughout the day and before bed. Reapply when necessary.
